Syberia Chardonnay

Hoddles Creek Estate Syberia Chardonnay is named after founder Franco D'Anna's nickname for the block where the fruit is sourced.

It is the steepest, highest estate block and has an east-west row orientation, meaning it does not see a lot of direct sunlight.

From the day the vines were first planted, Syberia has always been a special block at Hoddles Creek Estate. Its grapes are hand harvested and whole bunch pressed directly to French oak for fermentation.

Only the best barrels are selected. Made with minimal intervention the wine is not fined or filtered before bottling.

Pale straw, Hoddles Creek Estate Syberia Chardonnay has ripe citrus and stone fruit flavours, powerful acidity and lasting length. Cellaring potential is seven years.
